Kampaoh has strengthened its growth capacity with a new technology architecture developed alongside Septeo through Ulyses PMS. The solution enables the company to manage its accommodation network at third-party campsites as an integrated chain, rather than operating as a group of independent establishments.
The Spanish company specialising in glamping currently manages 77 sites, nearly 1,500 tents and more than 70,000 annual bookings. To support this volume, Kampaoh has built centralised operations on an open API-based architecture, a model that facilitates tool integration, process automation and the development of proprietary solutions.
An accommodation model with specific needs
From the outset, Kampaoh faced the challenge of finding a management system capable of adapting to a model positioned between hotel operations and camping. Traditional hotel management systems are generally designed for individual establishments, whereas the company operates a distributed network of accommodation located at third-party campsites.
This structure adds complexity to management. The accommodation offering can change each season, and the sites have different technological conditions. In this context, Kampaoh needed a tool that would enable it to coordinate operations from a central structure while also evolving alongside the business.
The implementation of Ulyses PMS, a solution developed by Septeo, has provided a flexible technological foundation. On this basis, Kampaoh can develop its own applications, connect different tools and automate processes considered critical to its operations.
The API-first architecture has also helped eliminate operational silos and maintain control of data as one of the core pillars of the business. This gives the company a common foundation for managing its accommodation network and expanding its distributed model.
Migration completed in 54 days
One of the project’s main milestones was the migration of more than 20 locations and hundreds of thousands of records in 54 days. The process was carried out through joint work by Kampaoh and Septeo’s technical teams.
The migration centralised operations and laid the technological foundations for genuine scalability. The company was able to transfer the information required to the new architecture in order to continue managing its activities from an integrated structure.
Kampaoh explains that the company’s growth led it to completely rethink its technology foundation. The need was not simply to implement a solution capable of handling its current volume, but to have a system that could support the evolution of its business model.

Greater control over management and settlements
In addition to centralising operations, the project has enabled the optimisation of processes such as billing and settlements with the owners of the various campsites where Kampaoh operates.
Managing these relationships is part of the complexity of a model based on accommodation installed at third-party sites. The new architecture helps reduce operational friction and improve efficiency in managing these processes.
The system also provides a common foundation for coordinating sales and the guest experience. Kampaoh centrally manages both areas across its sustainable accommodation, within a network that combines different locations and an offering that can vary depending on the season.
Co-development and technological evolution
The collaboration between Kampaoh and Septeo continues through a co-development approach. This model enables the system to be continuously adapted to the needs of the business, while maintaining security, data protection and regulatory compliance as working principles.
The relationship between the two companies is not limited to the initial implementation of the PMS. The joint evolution of the solution aims to ensure that the technology continues to respond to changes in an operation that is distributed and has requirements different from those of a conventional hotel establishment.
