    denoticias.es does not use advertising cookies or build commercial profiles of its readers. It does use temporary technologies to protect the site and obtain basic usage and performance measurements.

    1. What cookies are

    2. What denoticias.es uses

    The website does not use cookies for behavioural advertising, commercial personalisation, cross-site tracking, user registration, comments or newsletters.

    The following cookies were in use in the public configuration checked on the update date:

    • session-id — Provider: denoticias.es through the technical analytics service. Purpose: assigning a random identifier to a session to count visits and measure page performance without including a reader's name, email address or other information they provide. Type: first-party analytics. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
    • __cf_bm — Provider: Cloudflare. Purpose: distinguishing legitimate traffic from automated traffic and protecting the website from abuse. Type: technical and security. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.

    3. Data associated with measurement

    Technical measurement may record the page visited, URL, referring page, date and time, random session identifier, user agent, language, approximate country and performance metrics such as loading time or visual stability. Servers also receive the IP address required to handle the connection.

    This data is used to understand the publication's overall operation, identify problems and improve the reading experience. It is not used to display personalised advertising or identify readers by name.

    4. When cookies are set

    Security cookies may be set when you access the site because they are needed to protect and deliver the service. The analytics session cookie is created only if you accept optional analytics and is refreshed during browsing until it expires.

    You can accept, reject or configure optional technologies through the notice shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time afterwards through the ‘Manage cookies’ link in the footer.

    Browsers or protection measures may prevent them from being created. Reading stories does not require an account or the submission of identifying information.

    5. Third-party links and content

    The X, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp sharing buttons are links. denoticias.es does not set those platforms' cookies merely by displaying the buttons; when you click, you leave our environment and the destination platform may use its own cookies under its policies.

    The website also requests technical resources, such as fonts, from external providers. Those requests may transmit connection data, although denoticias.es does not use them to build advertising profiles.

    6. How to block or delete cookies

    You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy settings. The relevant controls are usually found under Privacy, Cookies, Website data or Permissions. Check the official help for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or your chosen browser for instructions applying to your version.

    Blocking cookies may reduce the accuracy of statistics and cause security systems to repeat certain checks, but it should not prevent ordinary reading of stories.
